PURPOSE: To check the base GU5.3 in the following respects:
-the diameter of the individual pins (dimension E);
-the combined displacement and diameter of the pins (dimensions D
and E);
-the length of the pins (dimension F);
-dimensions Smax and Hmax;
-the allowable build-up of cement within dimension W.
TESTING: It shall be possible to insert each individual pin of the base
into the hole e1 until surface Q of the base touches surface R of
the gauge.
It shall not be possible to insert each individual pin into hole
e2.
It shall be possible to insert both pins simultaneously into the
holes e.
It shall be possible to insert the base into the gauge with the
pins entering at surface Q until surface Q of the base is in
contact with surface Q of the gauge.
In this position, the ends of the pins shall be co-planer with or
project beyound surface X but shall not project beyond surface Y.
